Description
"Two of the best-loved translations of the Bible together in one volume make this Bible one of today’s most popular parallel Bibles. Now available with 16 pages of Timothy R. Botts' Bound for Glory art, including the Scripture verses that inspired each piece of art. The lyrics of each spiritual are also included in the front matter. His art pieces honor the persevering faith of the African-American people as they worshiped God through hymns and spiritual songs, and they visually represent a slice of America’s musical history. These spirituals continue to be performed by today’s symphonies and classical choirs.
